Wednesday Walks — 2026-27 school year
Walk or ride to school on eight Wednesdays from Oct. 7 through May 26. Presented by La Grande Parks and Recreation and Safe Routes to School.
LA GRANDE — Students and families are invited to start the school day with a walk or bike ride during Wednesday Walks, a series organized throughout the 2026-27 school year by La Grande Parks and Recreation and Safe Routes to School.
Walking gives students an energetic start to the day, promotes community, safety, and reduces vehicle traffic near schools!
Live too far away? participate by choosing a safe place to park farther from school and walking from there.
