The Kindness Quest is a community-wide adventure designed to bring families, friends, businesses, and neighbors together for a day centered around hope, joy, and kindness.

On Saturday, September 26, participants will set out across the La Grande area on a fun-filled quest, visiting locations, completing activities, searching for clues, and experiencing simple acts of kindness along the way. The goal is bigger than winning prizes—it is to create a day that reminds us just how powerful kindness and connection can be in strengthening a community.

The event is being organized in partnership with Perky’s Play Cafe and The Faith Center, with tremendous support from local businesses and individuals who have donated prizes, activities, food, services, and sponsorships.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. under the covered parking area at Benchwarmers, and the Kindness Quest map will go live at 9:00 a.m. Participants can then begin their adventure throughout the community. The day will include family-friendly activities, prizes, food, and plenty of opportunities to spread a little kindness along the way.

Pre-registration is $10, with day-of registration available for $15.

At its heart, the Kindness Quest is about something very simple: bringing people together. In a world where it is easy to feel disconnected, we hope this event creates a day filled with laughter, generosity, connection, and reminders that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference.
