What to include

Please include the article or event URL, the passage in question, the correction you believe is needed and a source we can use to verify it.

How we respond

We review correction requests as promptly as practical. Typos or formatting errors that do not change meaning may be fixed without a note. Substantive factual corrections are added to the article with a clear correction or update note. We do not remove accurate published information simply because it later becomes inconvenient.

Updates

Developing stories and event details may change. When an update materially changes the reader’s understanding, we identify what was added or changed and update the displayed date when appropriate.
